Vexplot is currently a personal project. This Privacy Policy explains how this website, the platform, and its maths tools handle information in their current form.

The platform is browser-based and currently does not require users to create an account.

This website is operated by an individual. Vexplot is not currently presented as a registered company or large organisation.

The website currently does not require account registration, names, passwords, payment details, or profile information.

The platform does not intentionally collect personal information through the maths tools themselves. Graphs, charts, and diagrams are created in the browser for the user's own use.

Like most websites, some technical information may be processed when the site loads, such as browser type, device information, pages visited, approximate region, referrer, and performance information. This is used to understand general website usage and improve the platform.

We aim to keep analytics limited and privacy-conscious, but we do not claim that every visit is completely anonymous.

Some tool settings, preferences, and recent work may be saved locally in the user's browser using localStorage. This can include graph settings, chart data, theme preferences, and cookie consent choices.

localStorage data stays on the user's device unless the user clears it, changes browser settings, or uses browser tools that remove site data. The cookie consent choice is stored using the key vextplot-cookie-consent-v1.

Analytics are used to understand general website usage, such as which pages are visited and whether the tools are useful. Analytics are not used to inspect the content of a user's graph, chart, or diagram.

Google Analytics is optional on this website. Analytics consent is denied by default, and the direct Google tag / gtag.js script is only enabled after the user accepts analytics cookies.

After consent, Google Analytics may use cookies to help understand page views, traffic patterns, device and browser information, and general site usage. If analytics is rejected, Google Analytics does not load for that preference state.

If analytics was already loaded in the current page session and the user later rejects analytics, consent is updated to denied and the saved preference prevents Google Analytics loading on future page loads.

Google Consent Mode v2 is used to communicate the user's consent choice to Google services. Before consent, analytics storage, ad storage, ad user data, and ad personalisation are denied by default.

Accepting analytics grants analytics storage only. Ad-related consent remains denied unless a separate ads or marketing preference is added in the future.

Vercel Analytics is used for privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics and is always enabled. It helps understand site performance and broad usage without setting analytics cookies.

Users can create and export graphs, charts, and diagrams as SVG or PNG. Exported files are generated from user-created content in the browser.

Users should avoid placing sensitive personal information into tool labels, chart data, or exported visuals unless they are comfortable managing that information themselves.

This website may use Vercel for hosting and analytics, and Google Tag Analytics when analytics consent is accepted. These services may process technical information under their own policies.

Vexplot is useful for education, but it is not designed to collect personal information from children. Teachers, parents, and guardians should supervise use where appropriate.

Browser storage remains on the user's device until it is changed or cleared. Analytics providers may retain aggregated or technical analytics information according to their own retention settings and policies.

Users can accept, reject, or manage optional Google analytics preferences through the cookie consent controls. Users can also clear localStorage and other site data through their browser settings.
